Structure:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: mainly composed of upper frame, lower frame, transmission shaft, moving cone, hydraulic cylinder, eccentric sleeve, etc. The main shaft is closely connected with the moving cone, and is supported by a bowl-shaped tile. The main shaft is installed on the bottom hydraulic cylinder.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: including support sleeve, lower frame, transmission shaft, moving cone, adjustment ring, eccentric sleeve and other components. The main shaft is short and thick with a large diameter. It is directly installed on the frame to obtain stable support instead of being placed in the eccentric sleeve.
Working principle:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: The motor drives the small gear, the small gear drives the large gear, and the large gear assembly drives the eccentric sleeve assembly and the main shaft assembly to revolve and rotate. The material is squeezed and crushed by the swinging inner cone. When an unbreakable object falls in, the moving cone is lifted by the bottom hydraulic piston to adjust the discharge port and protect against iron.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: multiple hydraulic cylinders are used to realize functions such as insurance, adjustment and locking. The eccentric sleeve directly drives the moving cone to generate a strong crushing force. The material is crushed by the squeezing and grinding of the moving cone in the crushing chamber.
Crushing effect:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: better medium crushing effect, large throughput, better product particle shape, suitable for a variety of materials. However, its discharge port is relatively flexible and the discharge particle size is not very stable.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: good fine crushing effect, significant lamination crushing effect, fast swing speed, high fine particle level in the finished product, and more uniform product particle size.
Production capacity:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: When crushing soft ores and weathered ores, the throughput is large, 35%-60% higher than that of traditional cone crushers.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: When crushing medium-hard and high-hard ores, it can produce more qualified products with obvious output advantages.
Adjustment method:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: Use the oil pump to fill or drain the main shaft cylinder to make the main shaft float up and down, so as to adjust the size of the discharge port, but it is difficult to lock the discharge port when crushing hard ores.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: Use the hydraulic pusher or motor to push the adjustment cap to drive the adjustment ring to rotate in the support sleeve to adjust the size of the discharge port, and the discharge port is easy to lock.
Maintenance:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: The structure is simple and compact, with only one hydraulic cylinder, low failure rate, PLC centralized control for easy maintenance, constant cavity design to extend the service life of the liner, but some parts may need to be maintained from the upper part of the equipment during maintenance.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: The top or side can be disassembled and all parts can be disassembled and maintained from the top or side. The movable cone and fixed cone are easy to disassemble and assemble, without disassembling the frame and tightening bolts, and daily replacement is more convenient.
Scope of application:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: suitable for medium and fine crushing of various ores. It has better effect when crushing single materials, but the effect of promoting inter-particle crushing of materials in the crushing chamber is not as good as that of multi-cylinder cone crusher.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: suitable for crushing high-hard materials such as limestone, iron ore, pebbles, granite, etc. The laminated crushing chamber design makes it suitable for customers with strict requirements on product particle shape, and its application range is relatively wide.
Cost:
Single-cylinder cone crusher: The structure is relatively complex, and the price is usually higher than that of multi-cylinder cone crusher. However, due to its low failure rate and simple maintenance, the comprehensive cost may have certain advantages in the long run.
Multi-cylinder cone crusher: It adopts full hydraulic protection and adjustment devices, fixed-axis structure design, small equipment foundation investment, relatively cheap price, and can save customers’ production costs.
