Working principle

Structural type

Double-shaft shredder: It has two rotating shafts and two motors, with strong crushing capacity, and the throughput ranges from 300kg/h to 20t/h. It is not equipped with a screen. After the material enters the crushing box from the feed port, it is directly discharged after being sheared by the knife, and the discharge size is random. The characteristics of low speed and high torque make it more energy-saving. It can be used alone or for pre-treatment crushing in recycling production lines.
Single-shaft shredder: It is usually equipped with a rotating knife shaft with a blade installed on it. The material is crushed by the shearing and tearing action between the blade and the fixed liner or other parts. The single-shaft shredder has a relatively simple structure and is suitable for processing some relatively soft and thin materials, such as paper, plastic film, fiber, etc.
