Working principle
The motor is driven to the reducer through the V-belt, and then the small bevel gear on the reducer drives the large gear connected to the grinding disc to make the turntable rotate counterclockwise. The raw materials in the disc are evenly mixed by the inner and outer scrapers. The rollers floatingly supported on the crossbeam rotate by the friction between the raw materials and the grinding wheel, and the raw materials are repeatedly squeezed, crushed, etc. until they meet the user’s requirements. The discharging scraper is lowered, and the raw materials overflow from the disc along the scraper to complete the mixing and stirring.
Structural composition
It is mainly composed of a power unit, a frame, a water basin, a grinding wheel, a grinding disc, etc. The power unit provides power, the frame plays a supporting role, the water basin is used to hold materials such as slurry, the grinding wheel rolls on the grinding disc to process the materials, and the grinding disc is a platform for material processing.

Common gold mill models include 1200, 1100, 1000, 900, 850, etc. Taking the 1200 model as an example, the roller diameter is 1200±30mm, the roller thickness is 175±15-195±15mm, the roller plate diameter is 1780±30mm, the roller plate thickness is 100-80mm, the roller plate groove width is 240-260mm, the roller wheel speed is 13-18 rpm, the power is 7.5KW, the drive speed is 1450 rpm, the feed particle size is <25mm, and the daily ore processing capacity is 8 tons.
Operation precautions
Installation and debugging: During installation, ensure that all components are firmly connected. During debugging, check whether the equipment is running smoothly and whether all components are working normally.
Adding mercury: In the gold selection operation, if the amalgamation method is used, mercury needs to be added according to the prescribed amount. Generally, after installation and commissioning, about 5 kg of mercury is added to the bottom of the gold mill trough to start normal operation. Gold sand is collected once per shift, and 1 kg of mercury is added at the time of handover to collect the gold sand and mercury at the bottom of the mill.
Daily maintenance: Regularly check the wear of the equipment, such as the mill wheel, mill plate, scraper and other parts, and replace the severely worn parts in time to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
